Terms and Conditions for joining Wells Business Forum CIC

This document sets out the terms and conditions of joining Wells Business Forum CIC (“Wells Business Forum CIC”, “The Forum”, “We” or “Us”.)

These terms and conditions are subject to variation from time to time. Variations will be notified on our website, www.wellsbusinessforum.uk and the latest version of these terms and conditions will be available there. Your membership will be deemed to have been renewed on the current version of the terms and conditions at the time of renewal.

By joining Wells Business Forum CIC you will meet and be introduced to other members who offer products and services which may be of use to you. If you
purchase any product or take any advice or assistance from an affiliate or member of Wells Business Forum CIC, this will be an arrangement purely between yourself and the other party. Wells Business Forum CIC does not act as an agent to introduce services and does not accept any liability for products sold or advice or assistance given by one member or affiliate to another on any matter whatsoever.

Membership Services
Your membership of Wells Business Forum CIC enables you to access various services including:

Bi-weekly newsletters, Exclusive offers for members, Support, Mentoring, Training, Bi-monthly Networking, Sign Posting, B2B Showcases, Jobs Fairs, Heart of Wells Brochure – Quarterly, Heart of Wells Loyalty Scheme, Advertising, Start Up Advice

Wells Business Forum CIC reserves the right to amend, withdraw or add to the right of membership services and such alteration shall not give rise to any liability to refund membership fees paid.

Additional Services
Wells Business Forum CIC may provide access and introduction to additional services but does not act as an agent to introduce members to these service providers and does not accept any liability for products or services provided by these service providers to members. If members choose to use these services, the arrangement is between the member and the service provider.

Joining Wells Business Forum CIC
Upon acceptance of your application, the date of joining Wells Business Forum CIC will be the date of submission of your application. Subscription fees run from April 1st and are billed annually. If joining partway through the subscription year, fees are prorated to the nearest full quarter. Subscription fees are reviewed annually and the current fees are provided on Wells Business Forum CIC’s website. By submitting an application form online, you are deemed to have signed the application form.

The level of the subscription depends on the number of employees that you have in your business(es) for which you are seeking to use the benefit of the services which you receive as a right of membership. If the number of employees varies from year to year you need to contact Membership Services at head office to advise them of the change to ensure that you are paying the correct membership fee from the next renewal date. If you do not do so Wells Business Forum CIC reserves the right to withdraw the benefit of those services which you would receive as a right of membership.

Wells Business Forum CIC subscriptions are for 12 months and shall automatically renew annually unless terminated. Subscribers must advise Wells Business Forum CIC of any changes to employee numbers to ensure the validity of their subscription and ensure they are on the correct plan. 

Any changes to subscription pricing or terms and conditions will be notified as soon as reasonably possible.

No rights are conferred on any person who is not a party to these terms and conditions.

Resignation
You may resign from Wells Business Forum CIC at any time in writing to: Customer Services, Wells Business Forum CIC, North Lodge, North Lodge Court, South Horrington, Wells, Somerset, BA5 3DZ; or email membership@wellsbusinessforum.uk Please note that only written resignations can be accepted.

Annual Subscriptions are non-refundable. 

Joining Wells Business Forum CIC is on a professional basis, including sole traders. There is no facility for public membership.

Wells Business Forum CIC does not accept liability for any advice given to affiliates or members either by other affiliates or members of Wells Business Forum CIC employees or anyone purporting to act on behalf of Wells Business Forum CIC. Any advice provided to affiliates or members is intended as initial guidance only and should not be relied upon or acted upon as substantive advice.

Wells Business Forum CIC reserves the right to refuse any application to join. On cancellation taking effect, or on other termination, the benefits of the joining
package will cease and you will not be entitled to the benefit of any part of the package which was due to be provided or fulfilled after the date of such cancellation/termination.

Each provision contained in these terms and conditions shall be severable from any other provisions, and if any part of any provision shall be found to be invalid, illegal, or void for any reason, such invalidity, illegality, or void shall not affect any other part of such provision or any other provision contained in these terms and conditions, which shall continue to have full force and effect. These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and
supersede all prior agreements, negotiations, representations, and proposals, whether written or oral, concerning the subject matter of the terms.

How we communicate with you
When you join Wells Business Forum CIC, you provide us with your details, including your address and email. By giving us this information and after giving explicit consent, you are agreeing that Wells Business Forum CIC contact you from time to time by telephone, email, or post with information related to services, products and events.

You may, at any time, update and amend your preferred method(s) of communication, opt out of receiving communications from Wells Business Forum
CIC, change your contact details or set your email preferences, by contacting 01749 673388.
