  • Business Information & Support

    In our bi-weekly business email we will disseminate any updates in the region or nationally that are of interest to our members. This will include grant funding, resources and development activities available. The Forum will also help with mentoring, support and applications where needed.

  • Networking

    Bi-monthly networking in the City will establish a regular open forum for all business owners in Wells. The talks will always be from local entrepreneurs and will cover a wide range of topics.We recognise that your time is a precious commodity, and we like to think of this as 'networking done well'. The meetings are also a chance to shine – tell us what you have going on, offers, new products or services. This is your chance to connect with like-minded people in Wells and establish a business relationship with them. There will also be an annual business showcase where all businesses in and around Wells will be welcome to exhibit. We recognise how difficult it is to secure staff at the moment, so in conjunction with the business showcase, there will be an additional jobs fair. This benefits not only the businesses in Wells but the people who want to find employment

  • Training & Development

    We recognise that the world has changed since the pandemic and that there are many new ways of working and delivering your services. The Forum will run training sessions in many sectors, such as social media, accounts, compliance, insurance etc. We are open to listening to the needs of our members and if there is an area that needs to be covered, we will do our best to organise a training session.

  • Heart of Wells Brochure & Loyalty Scheme

    Each member will automatically get included in the new publication, The Heart of Wells. The brochure will be delivered to every home in Wells and be available to pick up at local venues throughout the city. As a member, you also have a web presence on the directory and will be part of the loyalty scheme. The scheme is run to benefit both businesses and members of the public. By supporting local Wells businesses, customers will get stamps in return for their purchases. Whereas some schemes only include retail and hospitality businesses, this one will include all members of the Forum. The stamps are capped at £100 purchase spend and, at this point are converted to an entry into the bi-monthly prize draw to win vouchers that can be used in members businesses
